Homework Tips for Kindergarten

1.  Sit with your child and read the instructions so that they 
fully understand the assignment.
 
		2.  Allow your child to work independently,  but be sure to review their work 
                                      together once they are finished.  It is helpful for them to recognize mistakes 
they may have made and be given the opportunity to correct them.
 
     3.  Make sight/star word cards (using index cards) to be used as
 a reference while working on homework
