Snuggle up with a Good Book Reading Incentive, is off to a good start!  Student participation is necessary to attend the FREE culminating activity in May: Seussical the Musical!

 I encourage all of our families to promote reading with your children by:
-reading at home for enjoyment
-completing reading homework
or
-attending SRD Book Club every Tuesday and Thursday during recess in my office.

 Please record all reading minutes on the “Snuggle up with a Good Book Calendar.”  Whatever children decide to do, the ultimate goal is to: READ, READ, READ! The support of our families allows for this experience to occur! 

As we celebrate another holiday, the SRD family wanted to take time to show our appreciation to our servicemen and servicewomen.  Children created Valentine’s for Veterans during class, as well as Valentine’s for Soldiers during art class! The students wrote words of appreciation and created beautiful pictures for both.
